Does anyone know if it's possible to safely and robustly store the Photos Library file in the "Pictures" folder on iCloud and then open it from any Mac, one device at a time? I'd like to see if anyone knows if this is a robust option or not before I try it.
I am most definitely NOT interested in enabling iCloud sharing/access of my Photos Library app in the "typical" fashion, where photos are accessible via any device. That's just not been very robust for me in the past, and even if I unselect it on my iPhone, all the photos still appear and it's just too aggrivating to deal with anymore. So the Photos are set to "off" in iCloud for all devices.
I tried copying the Photos Library to Dropbox and also the base folder in iCloud but it's not been possible to copy the Photos Library file/folder to these locations. But it does seem possible to move/copy the Photos Library to the Pictures folder in iCloud.
Has anyone tried this (or do this now)?
Thanks.
